Wally and Milo are friendly boys who are looking for a very special home where they can live out their lives with lots of attention and love.  Both mules are very well handled, and good for the farrier, vet and dental treatments.

They are looking for a home where they can have 24-hour access to turn out with a hardstanding area and a large stable or barn to shelter from the weather at their own choice. Milo prefers not to be confined to a barn/yard area for long periods so an ideal home would be one where they could have free access to a paddock.

Both mules have engaged with educational activities in the past and have enjoyed equine agility.  These activities have helped to keep their clever minds active and fulfilled.  They are now looking for a quieter home but one where they will benefit from 1-1 attention and continue to enjoy enrichment and ground-based activities.

Wally and Milo benefit from consistent and kind handling.  They respond best to positive reinforcement training so their ideal Guardian would be someone who is experienced in this area or is keen & willing to learn.  They are large mules so experience in handling larger equines is preferable.  The Donkey Sanctuary can provide behaviour support and will be on hand with settling-in support from the start.  A Donkey Welfare Adviser will visit throughout the year to ensure that the mules and their new guardian have all the support they need to create a lifelong bond and partnership.
