Missy is a sweet 10.2hh, 13 year old, skewbald pony mare. She is available as a companion pony to bring on.

Missy can be nervous of new people and is looking for a home that will take the time she needs to bond with her and help to encourage her to gain trust. She is good to catch once in a routine, once caught she is good to brush, have her feet picked out, she has been walked out and is good to lead alone or in company.

Missy has a history of laminitis so requires careful management, she would suit being a companion for a horse requiring similar management. She gets on well with other horses and has been turned out with mares and geldings.

Missy has done some positive reinforcement previously, this style of training really suits her and we would love for this to continue in her new home. She does have Cushing's disease which is managed with half a tablet of Prascend daily. Missy can be tricky to catch, and she needs a confident approach and time to trust.

Missy is a sweet horse, although she will climb through or jump electric fencing if it is not fully electrified. Missy does have an issue with being caught in the field and this needs work. She is currently sound and in good health although needs weight management.

Missy is passported, microchipped and up to date with Flu and Tetanus vaccinations. She is good for the farrier & dentist and to load and travel. She is regularly de-wormed and her last worm count came back 0.
