Daisy came into the centre at the start of 2021 after being seized from a field with a number of equines. When Daisy first arrived at the centre it was clear she had not had much handling and she was extremely nervous and would stand at the back of her stable shaking if you tried to approach her.
Over time and with a lot of work from the Equine Care Officers, Daisy has improved and is now a very sweet pony who is starting to enjoy all the attention. She is still a little nervous, so will need time to settle into her new surroundings. Daisy loves having a bath and her favourite thing is having a long snooze in the field while the sun is shining.
Daisy is turned out in a mixed herd and gets on well with all types of horses, including our babies.
Daisy is looking for a home where she can have daily handling and continue to build her confidence.
