Flo is a very sweet pony who loves attention and to be groomed and is generally easy to handle for an experienced equine handler.

Flo does have sweet itch, an allergic reaction to the saliva of midges. This is managed with lotions and rugs, which will come with her to her new home. She would be best suited to poor, restricted grazing to keep her at a healthy weight as she has equine metabolic syndrome. She also has equine asthma, and whilst she can be part stabled, this would need to be in a low dust environment.

Flo has no specific training needs, is respectful of electric fencing and has lived with mares and geldings.

Flo needs someone dedicated in managing her sweet itch, someone who can commit to her daily routine with rugs and creams. A windy, exposed or coastal site would be the best match for her, but this is not essential.

Flo is happy to be left when other horses are taken away, making her the ideal companion. Her ideal home would be an equine with similar restricted grazing requirements and an adult-only home.
