Say hello to Finley!

Finley is an 8-year-old, 13hh, skewbald, cob, gelding who is ready to find his home as a non-ridden companion.

Finley is very loving towards people and loves nothing more than a fuss and a groom; he will happily stand all day for this and easily fall asleep!

Finley would like his new home to be quiet, as he finds a busy yard environment unsettling. He is looking for his perfect partner who will spend time with him and create a bond so he can learn to trust you and give you all the love he has to offer!

Finley is a sweet-natured boy, and he will always come over to greet you in the field as he loves to be around humans, getting all the attention!

Stabling/Shelter: Finley currently lives out 24/7 with access to a shelter. He would be better off living out 24/7; however, he can stable as long as there is a friend in sight at all times.

Companionship: Finley would like to always be with another equine so he doesn’t become unsettled. He would like to live with geldings only, as he doesn’t settle living with mares or in a field next to mares. Finley is happier living in a smaller herd or with one or two other equines.

Forage/Feed: Finley currently lives out and is supplemented with hay when grazing becomes too sparse. He can be protective of food at times.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Finley is currently barefoot and trimmed every 6-8weeks. He is good for the farrier, now that he has got to know him. Finley would benefit from a calm and patient farrier who would understand that, over time, he would settle when he gets to know his farrier.

Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.

Vices: Finley can only live with and around geldings.

Vet: Finley is a good boy for the vet and benefits from the vet being calm and patient.
