What you’ll be doing:
Working from our rural office location as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Being the first point of contact for members of the public, BHS members and stakeholders, providing a welcoming and professional service by phone and email.
Offering helpful guidance on access and rights of way enquiries and ensuring queries reach the right person when specialist support is needed.
Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries, helping to keep the team organised and running smoothly.
Supporting the organisation of events, meetings and projects.
Working collaboratively with colleagues on a variety of activities that help protect, improve and promote equestrian access
What you won’t be doing:
Needing to be a rights of way or equestrian expert before you join us. We'll support you to develop your knowledge and confidence in the role.
Handling every enquiry yourself; you'll be part of a supportive team and will refer specialist enquiries to colleagues when needed.
Working solely on one project, as the role involves supporting a wide range of activities.
This is a great role for you if:
You enjoy helping people and providing excellent customer service.
You're organised, proactive and thrive in a varied administrative role
You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are confident speaking to a range of people.
You take pride in keeping things organised and making sure things run smoothly to support the team.
You're interested in the countryside, access, community engagement or the equestrian sector.
…you want to work in an organisation that supports you to bring your full, authentic self to work and is working really hard to be a beacon of inclusion in the equestrian sector.
