Flo is a 10.2hh roan mare seeking a new home as a child's lead-rein pony. As a young pony, she is still relatively green and would benefit from a knowledgeable home with experience in producing and educating young ponies.

Flo arrived with limited previous handling but has made excellent progress during her time with us. She is now generally good to catch, lead, groom, and for farrier visits. She can still be slightly apprehensive during veterinary procedures and would benefit from further positive exposure to bathing and hosepipes.

Flo is confidently wearing a saddle and bridle and has been successfully long-lined and led out both around the farm and along quiet lanes. She is generally sensible in traffic; however, she can be unsettled by large vehicles such as lorries. For this reason, we are seeking a home where most of her ridden or in-hand work can take place off-road.
Flo's ideal home would be with a family or experienced loaner who can continue her education at a steady pace and build on the foundation she has already established. She would thrive in a quiet, patient environment with consistent handling, where she can gain confidence and experience. While she has the potential to become a lovely child's lead-rein pony, she is not yet a finished pony and will require ongoing guidance and support to reach her full potential.
