Say hello to Olympia!

Olympia is a 5-year-old, 15.3hh, Dun + White, Sports Horse, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.

Olympia is a very sweet girl who loves attention. Olympia can be a little nervous to begin with, but once a bond is built and a relationship between her and her handler, she will follow you around the field for a scratch and a cuddle, which she loves!

Olympia is looking for an experienced foster home due to her young age and her having only one eye. She will benefit from someone who has time to give her to build a strong bond and loving relationship with her.

Olympia would like a consistent routine in the first few weeks in her new home to help her get to know her new surroundings, and would enjoy plenty of handling to build trust with her new fosterer.

She is such a loving mare and has a lot to offer!

Stabling/Shelter: Olympia currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter; she stables well as long as there is a friend in sight in the stable block.

Companionship: Olympia loves to be with her field companions and will happily live with mares or geldings. She is currently living in a small mixed herd. Olympia needs company with her all the time in the field.

Forage/Feed: Olympia is currently on 24/7 grazing and is supplemented with hay when grazing becomes too sparse.

Medication: N/A

Farrier: Olympia is barefoot and trimmed every 6-8weeks and is a good girl for the farrier. She can be unsure of a new farrier to begin with and would benefit from having a secure area to have her feet done.

Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure.

Vet: Olympia is a good girl for the vet; she may sometimes need some treats as a backup when being injected. Olympia has had her nearside eye removed due to Uveitis.
