Job Description:

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Rider/Trainer.

We currently have more than three hundred equines, across two sites and are looking for an additional dedicated individual to help us prepare those that are able to join our Perfect Partner Rehoming Scheme. As part of a small friendly team, you will get to work one on one with a range of equines; educating, backing and training in order to prepare them for a ridden career.

The ideal candidate should have;

• BHS Stage 3 or equivalent
• industry experience being involved in producing horses from start to finish
• experience of the backing process
• skills in groundwork i.e. long lining/lunging
• excellent communication skills and works well as part of a team
• knowledge of equine care and handling
• good level of fitness; this role is physically demanding and predominantly based outside, in all weathers

This role is full-time, permanent, with sociable hours; from 8 am - 4.30 pm and only working every other weekend.

The starting salary is £20,915 per annum but is dependent upon the skills and experience demonstrated at interview.
