The Role
Bransby Horses has grown significantly over the last 10 years and now consists of two working sites within Lincolnshire, employing almost 200 staff. The charity and its people are committed to providing a safe haven for equines and to provide for their health, welfare and rehabilitation. The support required to enable this to happen effectively and efficiently has also grown along with the demands on all aspects of IT provision.
The charity employs its own IT Manager and receives external support on a contract basis. The role of the IT Technician is to provide additional support and capacity to meet the demands being placed on the growing use of IT across all of our functions. You will be the first point of contact; receiving and handling requests for support, logging and providing these on a priority basis.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience of working in a similar role, using their skills across all aspects of IT. This is a permanent, forward-facing role, requiring good interpersonal skills, excellent organisation and a proactive work ethic.
The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday – Friday with some flexibility to cover out-of-hours tasks.
The Pay
Working in the third sector is incredibly rewarding and on top of this, we offer a competitive starting salary of £20,915 - £23,207 per annum; dependent upon the skills and experience demonstrated at interview.
