Salary: Grade 8a £8,130 (actual), rising with a structured training and development programme
Hours: 15 hours per week (every weekend)

Bransby Horses is a large, progressive equine rescue and welfare charity, set in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and see first-hand, the positive impact we have on the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
Summary of the Role
Covering seven specialist yards, our Equine Welfare Assistants ensure that every equine in our care is handled with care and compassion and has access to clean water, feed and suitable shelter.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone with the following:
• a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine studies
• at least 1 year previous experience of working with equines
• good communication skills and works well as part of a team
• sound knowledge of equine care and health needs
• demonstrable handling skills with good health and safety awareness
• a good level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role
