Longest Stayer (50+ days) Possible Project Pony

Jo Jo aka Piggy arrived into our care after his owner couldn’t care for him any longer due to personal circumstances, they decided he was best placed with Blue Cross to secure his future.

He is a jazzy little soul who is settling into life at the centre. He is now good to catch but may benefit from wearing a leather headcollar until he settles into a new home. He is good to groom and pick out his feet and has seen the vet and farrier.

Jo Jo would suit a home that can cater for restricted grazing all year round as he has been known to get a little porky and does have a condition called EMS which we are managing by diet only and this seems to be manageable for his needs.

He has been living out 24/7, part-time in a woodchip area until recently introduced to grass and would suit a routine where he can have some time off the grass in the spring and summer months. Jo Jo has lived with mares and geldings.

Potentially once settled in a home he could be considered as a child's pony with an experienced handler that can bring him on for small children.

Can you offer Jo Jo his forever home?
